We are proud of the local food and raw materials we have in our district. We feel it is important to offer local food based on the best ingredients available to us.

Fish, shellfish, deer and wild sheep

Beside good fish and fine seafood, this is also a deer region. In recent years, an increasing number have started wild sheep production. Deer and wild sheep are exciting ingredients with wonderful taste.


We serve cheeses from Hitra Gårdsmat. The cave cheese (Grotteost) has received much positive attention.
